LITHGOW MINERS OBJECT. SYDNEY, Jan. 14. Though there are very few, if any, aliens employed either in or around the mines, the members of the Litlvgow colliery lodge are concerned with what they regard as the big influx of foreigners into Lithgow last year — about -20.

Most of these found work at the blast and steel furnaces, but the LithI gow colliery members desire such action to be taken generally by the federation as will preclude any possibility of the mining industry being invaded. At their usual meeting they decided they would not work with foreigners, that all lodges bo asked to take the same attitude, and that membership of the federation bo refused all alien newcomers-
