SHENANDOAH’S SUCCESSOR
WASHINGTON., Jan. 13. The Secretary for the Navy, Mr Curtis Wilbur, giving evidence before the Naval Committee, advocated the construction of a dirigible twice as large as the ill-fated Shenandoah, to replace her. . Mr Wilbur said experiment with the Shenandoah type showed that their cruising radius was too small for them to operate efficiently with the fleet.
