GREEK DICTATORSHIP.
BOMBSHELL TO POLITICIANS. LONDON, Jan. 6. Greece still is somewhat puzzled by General Pangalos’s proclamation of a dictatorship, which, according to the Athens correspondent of the Times, came as a bombshell even to politicians, including members of the Cabinet. / It is stated that Cabinet differences followed, but these apparently have been composed as the Cabinet approved of the proclamation, although it is noted that only Pangaloa signed it. Other political leaders do not attempt to explain the reasons prompting the Premier’s sudden change of policy at a moment when the elections were in sight and reasonable hopes existed that the country was about to revert to normal Parliamentary life.
