CHARGE OF- MURDER. MELBOURNE, Jan. 8. At tho inquest on Mrs Currell, Henry Tacko was committed ior trial on a charge of murder. —Press Association. On December 16, Airs Ray Currell, residing with her husband at St. Kilda, was shot dead by a man who called at her home late at night and engaged deceased in conversation at tlio door, where a quarrel ensued, tlio man firing six shots from a revolver. Deceased’s husband saw tho whole affair and recognised tho murderer. Airs Currell was hit bv four bullets. Two wore fired at ‘the husband ineffectually. Two neighbours also witnessed the occurrence.
