A private screening of “The White Sister,” tho film in which Lillian Gish achieves her greatest screen triumph, was given at the Palace Theatre this morning. To witness the film is to realise that nothing that has been said about it is in the least exaggerated—it is a masterpiece and should attract large audiences during its local season commencing from Monday.
