PLUNKET SHIELD MATCH. CHRISTCHURCH, Dec. 28. The Plunket Shield cricket match was continued this morning iri glorious weather. Otago resumed with eight down for 168 and the first innings was soon over. The not out batsmen were Zimmormau and Torrance. At 191 Zimmerman was bowled by Read for 26 and shortly after Torrance (15) was caught by MeEwin off Findlay. The total was 191 and Otago followed on. The bowling analysis for Otago’s first innings was: Read, 2 for 43; Findlay, 4 lor 64; MeEwin, 1 for 12; Talbot, none for 30; Sandman, 2 for 28.
