SERVICE CAR CAPSIZES.
A DOUBLE SOMERSAULT. ONE PASSENGER KILLED. ROTORUA, Dec. 24. Word has been received of a motor car accident caused through tho vehicle running over a bank. Mrs Cattanach was driving for her husband, who runs the service from Tauranga, and the car had reached the 15-mile peg from Rotorua about 10.30, when it capsized, turning over twice and landing on its wheels, when it capsized, turning over twice, and landing on its wheels. One passenger, a Maori named Fred Wilson, was killed and his body was left in a whare at Okere.
A lady, whose name is unknown, sustained serious injury to her neck or back.
A girl named Smedley, aged 14, slightly injured, is in the King Street Hospital.
