FEILDING NOTES.

ST. PAUL’S SUNDAY SCHOOL. (From Our Own Correspondent.) The scholars of St. Paul’s Presbyterian Sunday school, with their parents and friends, met on Sunday afternoon for tho annual prize giving. The superintendent (Mr A. C. Buist) occupied tho chair. Mr Geo. Bartholomew, who presented tho prizes, gave an interesting address on tho early days of St. Paul’s Sunday School. Tho names were mentioned of a number of scholars and teachers who had left the school to ultimately occupy high official positions in the Dominion. The prize winners wero as follow: Girls: Jean Miller, Jean Martin, Ivy Dummer, Connie McEwen, Phyllis McEwen, Joan Worsfold, Kathleen Gould, Hazel Buist; boys: Duncan Smith. Colin Ailken Jack Broadbolt, Brian Budd. Robert Miller, Alex Finch, Jack Mclntyre, Tom Miller, Malcolm Buist, Graham Miller and Joo Watts. The special gold medal presented by the Presbyterian General Assembly was won by Jean Miller. Rev. T. Miller presented the attendance prizes. Miss Neiison, tho secretary, was handed a bouquet from tho school.
