An enjoyable time is promised all those who avail themselves of tho opportunity of seeing something of the beauties of the Manawatu river per medium of Mr ( Josoph’s launch. Mr Joseph is running river excursions with an up-to-date launch and can accommodate 100 passengers. It is his intention to leave the Foxton wharf oil the arrival of the Sunday train from Palmerston North and to return in time to connect with tho return train. Fares are very reasonable, being only 2s 6d for adults, and children half price. Private picnio parties are specially catered for.
