FATAL SHOOTING

QUEENSLAND TRAGEDY. MURDER CHARGE FOLLOWS. (By Electric Telegraph. —Copyright.) Received November 30, 10.50 a.m. BRISBANE, Nov. 30. Advices have been received of tho fatal shooting of Cecil Perry, at Mount Yat. It is alleged that Arthur Croton, whose wife was living at Perry’s homestead, went to tho house and saw Perry and, after a conversation, Perry turned to re-enter the house, when he was shot through the back, the bullet entering the heart. It is also alleged that Mrs Croton received a blow on tho head, rendering her unconscious. Mrs Perry, tho mother of Cecil Perry, who rushed to her son’s assistance, was also struck on the head. Later, Croton was arrested and charged with murder. —Press Association.
