Mails close at Palmerston North as under:— For Great Britain, Ireland, Continent of Europe and United States of America (via San Francisco), due London about December S, per Tahiti, on Tuesday, November 10. at 6 a.m. For Great Britain, Ireland and Continent of Europe; also Pitcairn Island (via Panama); duo London December 12 (specially addressed correspondence only), per Tainui, on Friday, November 6, at 9 a.m. For Fiji, Tonga, Apia, Pago Pago, per Tofua, from Auckland, on Friday, November G, at 3 p.m. For Australian States, South Africa, the Fast, on Thursday, November 12, at 4 p.m. For Great Britain, Ireland and Continent of Europe (specially addressed correspondence only), per Matakana, on Friday, November 16, at 9 a.m. Mails which left Auckland on 29th September (via Vancouver) arrived in London on 31st October.
