PIGEON CLUB

GENERAL MEETING. A special meeting of the Palmerston North Homing Pigeon Club was held last night, Mr B. Abraham presiding over an attendance of nearly thirty members. The business for which the meeting had been called was to consider a protest lodged against the action of the president and secretary in declaring a race from Auckland on October 18 off. After full consideration, the action of the two officials referred to was confirmed. The club last week-end conducted races from Blenheim (two) and Auckland. Tho two former were won by E. Jackson and the latter by G. Fairey.
