VICTORIAN BRANCH. ENTIRELY NON-POLITICAL. AIELBOURNE, Nov. 2. Captain J. O. liatteher, inspector of seamen at tho Mercantile Aturiue office, states there has not been, since its formation any secrecy about the Victorian branch of the British Fascist i. He said the movement was not aimed against constitutional authority. hut in lavour of peace and quietness, God and country. The movement was non-political and non sectarian. and was direced agains nobody but the extreme Communists and Red taggers’. Air Bruce, in a statement, said he knew ot no Faseisti in Australia. The Government entirely dissociated itself from any private or independent movement to maintain law and order in the community.—Press Association.
