WARTIME STORY.
DENIAL OF STATEMENTS Received November 4, 11.5 a.m. LONDON, Nov. 3. Brigadier-General Gharteris has issued a statement emphatically denying the statements attributed to him with regard to the German corpso factory during iiis recent visit to America. He said the allegations that he had invented the kadaver story, altered the captions of a photograph, or used faked material for propaganda purposes were absurd. Ho had explained the whole circumstances to the Secretary of State, who was perfectly satisfied. —Reuter.
