DOUBLE SUICIDE.

FILM ACTOR AND WIFE. Received November 2, 9.45 a.m. PARIS, Nov. 1. Max Linder, the French film actor, and his wife were discovered in bed in a hotel at Baltimore in a pool of blood. Both had severed the arteries of tho right wrist, and 'a razor was lying alongside. Tho wife was dead. Linder, who is believed to have been suffering from tuberculosis, left a letter indicating that they had agreed to commit suicide. He succumbed later.—A. and N.Z. cable.
