A London cablegram states that .Lady Gwendoline Jellicoe, daughter of Earl Jellicoo, underwent a second operation and is progressing as well as can bo expected. • The weekly dance under the auspices of the It.S.A. was held in the Anzac Club on Saturday evening, the attendance being particularly satisfactory. “Spotlight” and “twilight” dances were again appreciated by patrons. Mr D. Dilks was M.C. A jumblo sale in aid of tho Church funds was hold in All Saints’ Sunday school on Saturday by members of the Mothers’ Union 'and Girl Guides, Miss Newman being in charge. A largo assortment of new and second-hand clothing, household articles, etc., was disposed of at satisfactory prices, and the funds will benefit accordingly. LADIES’ GOLF.
