AEROPLANE’S FLIGHT.
DUNEDIN TO CHRISTCHURCH; Per Press Association. CHRISTCHURCH, Oct. 25. With a good strong southerly behind,. Captain L. M. Isitt flew from Dunedin to Christchurch yesterday in an hour and three-quarters in a D.H.9 machine. Captain Isitt had been down to Dunedin to make arrangements for flying at the opening of the exhibition. Yesterday morning he was iu the air a couple of hours. He spent fifteen minutes taking photographs before leaving Dunedin. At 10.20 he took a photograph of the Octagon, and at 12.3 he had reached the aerodrome at Sockburn. The conditions were a bit cloudy, tout ho set a course at a higher altitude and, at a speed of 75 to 80 miles, with a strong following wind, ho mado good time.
