UNION OF METHODISTS.
RESOLUTION IN FAVOUR. LONDON, July 17. The Wesleyan Methodist Conference at Lincoln adopted a resolution by 397 votes .to 126 in favour of-the union of Methodist Churches providing a substantial agreement, were secured concerning measures for effecting such a union. It was stated that the voting in the various Methodist! organisations showed 70 per cent, in favour of union. —A. and N.Z. cable.
