Horse-owners and trainers will be pldased to learn that Bisogne (by Bexonian),’again is to be-at the service of breeders in thej Manavvatu district this season. Although' Bisogne has 'not had a greal amount of opportunity at the stud, lie has his share of winners. It is said that the hurdler Vagabond was bought by a Canterbury sportsman on Saturday. On his racing at Trentham his new owner may not have to wait long for a return of Jtis purchase price.

Sir Rosebery is in demand for both the Grand National Steeplechase and Hurdles, and after the disclosure of form by other probables at the Trentham fixture he seems to have a good olianco in the big steeplechase at least. His running in tile hurdle race will depend greatly upon the way in which he comes through the ordeal in the cross country event.
