VESSELS UNDER CONSTRUCTION

Lloyd’s Register shows that tho total shipping tonnage under construction in the world on June 30 was 2,370,000, of which 1.129,000 comprised motor ships. The British yards were building 1,094,000 tons, which is 72,000 tons below the total for tho previous quarter, while the rest of the world was 45,000 tons higher with 1,276,000 tons. —Reuter.
