LEGISLATIVE COUNCIL.
IMPREST SUPPLY BILL PASSED
Per Press Association. WELLINGTON. June 30. The Legislative Council met at 11 a.in. to-day. Leave of absence was granted to Sir James Carroll lor one month on account of illness; to the Hon. J. B. Gow for two months during his absence at Honolulu, and to Hon. J. MacGregor for ten days on account of illness. The Imprest Supply Bill was putthrough all stages and passed. The Leader of the Council (Sir Francis Bell) made a statement placing on record the recent Ministerial changes. The Council adjourned at 11.20 a.m. until 2.30 p.m. to-day.
