HOCKEY.
NEW ZEALAND REFEREES’ ASSOCIATION. The annual meeting of the New Zealand Hockey Referees’ Association was held in Wellington last night, Mr H. Hatch presiding over a good attendance. The election of officers resulted President, Mr H. Hatch; vice-president (to be nominated from the various, associations); secretary and treasurer, Mr Barton Ginger; auditor,’ Mr O. J. Mullins; management committee, Messrs N. R. Jacobson, O. J. Mullins, It. J. Lloyd; interpretation committee, Messrs H. Hatch, N. K. Jacobson and L. S. Kent.: examination board, Messrs H. Hatch, L. S. Kent, W. Crump and H. Tlirop. A lengthy discussion took place in connect ion with rules relating to the classification and examination of referees, several amendments being made.
