It was previously cabled that ns the result of a- isturbuncooutside the United States Hotel, ( arlton, John Henry Dodds, aged 42, died from a bullet wound in the head. Jack AJ ixwell O’Shea, the licensee, was arrested on a cltnrge of murder. According to { statement by O’Shea, he and another n: in heard sounds of men attempting to I leak a back gate. They saw ono man clii ibing the gate and tho others assisting. O’Snea fired a shot from a revolver, intending to frighten the men, but the man on the gate fell off. The men sea tered when the police arrived.
