LISTENING-IN LICENSES.
NUMBER IN COMMONWEALTH. Received Juno 12, 10.15 a.m. MELBOURNE, June 12. In the House of Representatives the Postmaster-General stated that on the 30th May, 61,518 listening-in licenses had been granted in the Commonwealth, of which 33,964 were in New South Wales. The total amount of license fees collected was £113,658. The sums paid to the broadcasting companies ranged from £4220 in Perth to £34,628 in Sydney.—Press Association.
