COMMERCIAL WIRELESS.
DISSATISFACTION EXPRESSED.
SYDNEY, May 21. At the annual meeting of tho Australian section of the Empire Press Union, the report expressed grave dissatisfaction at the existing state of affairs in regard to commercial wireless communication between Australia and other parts of the Empire. It was p- anted out that no information was available as to when the erection of beam station between Australia, Britain and Canada would bo taken in band.
Satisfaction was expressed at tho recent reduction in press cable rates between Australia and Britain.
Regarding the forthcoming Imperial Press Conference, it was reported that the organisation of the conference and the travel programme for delegates were well in hand.
