WALL PAPERS

STANDARD LENGTH URGED. Per Press Association. AUCKLAND, March 9. The New Zealand Federation of Master Painters, Decorators and Signwriters adopted a Christchurch remit urging the standardisation of the widths and lengths of wull papers. It was stated that merchants complained of the irregular length of rolls, and that the importation of British papei;s was menaced by Canadian and American competitors, who supplied a standard 16 yards’ roll. It was decided to urge that the standard be a 12 yards roll.
