LONDON MARKETS. The New Zealand Loan and Mercantile Agency Co., Ltd., have received the following cablegram from their London houso upder date 4th inst. Tallow.—We quote present spot values for tho following descriptions: Fine mutton 49s 6d per cwt, good beef 45s 3d per cwt, mixed 40s 6d per cwt. New Zealand dairy produce.—Butter: Choicest salted 178 sto 180 e per owt, choicest unsalted 190 s per owt; market firm, quiet. Cheese: 98s to 100 s per owt; market firm.

LONDON, March 7. Wheat cargoes are quiot and occasionally lower. Parcels are in little demand at 3d to 6d per quarter decline. Parcels by the Aspen at Manchesctr brought 71s. Liverpool features: March, 14s 6d; May 14s 2d; July, 13s lid. Later. Wheat cargoes are dull and quotations have declined 6d to Is per quarter. Parcels are in quiet request at about Is under last ratea. Liverpool futures: March, nominal; May, 13s llid; July, 13s 9d.—A. and N.Z. cablo. CHICAGO, March 7. Wheri futures: May 1 dollar 81 cents per bushel; July, 1 dollar 62i cents; September, 1 dollar 493 cents. \\ heat prices have been forced down sharply owing to an avalanche of selling orders, based largely on favourable crop reports over the entire grain-growing belt. Other grains have followed tho downward turn, causing wild scenes in the trading pits. A. arid N.Z. cable.
