SAILORS FINED. Par Press Amoolatfoß. WELLINGTON, March 7. As a result of the light amongst sailors on tho Trobartha last night, coloured seamen, Dan Roberts, Ronald 1 air and Peter Johnston, and two whites, Meredith O’Connor and William Moore, appeared at the Court to-day. Roberts was sentenced to 7 day’s imprisonment. O’Connor, Fair and Moore were fined £3 or 7 days’ imprisonment, and the charge against Johnston was withdrawn.
