LATE COMMERCIAL.
The Dank of New Zealand has received tho following cabled ad wee from its London office under late 6th January: Butter: Steady; 150 sto 160 s per cwt. Cheese: Steady; coloured 94s to 955, white 95s to 965. Frozen meat: The demand for wethers is very poor at present and the market has declined. The market for ewos shows a weaker tendency. The market for lambs is unsteady and it is not thought the prices will bo maintained. Beef is in fair demand. Wetherslight 83d to 9Jd. heavy 7Jd to Bid. Ewes 6Jd to Bd. Laml>s under 42's 13d to 13jd, seconds 12W to 13d, Australian lid to 12Jd, Argentine lOd to 10id. Ox hinds 5d to 5J,d, fores 4d to 4id.
