ASSOCIATIONS CONFER. A meeting of delegates from the Horowhenua, Pahiatua, Woodville and the conference of the North Island A. and P. Associations was held in Palmerston North yesterday to consider the position which has arisen as a result of the Health Department's embargo oa children congregating in public places. Following a lengthy discussion it was amicably arranged that, provided the embargo was lifted within a reasonable time, to hold the shows in the same order as had previously existed. The Waipukurau Association, which was not represented, wired stating that it would fall in line with any programme arranged.
