LONDON, Feb. 9. The Financial News states that Allied Newspapers, Limited, which recently acquired Hulton's Manchester newspapers, is now taking over the Newcastle Chronicle group at a cost of £1,750.000. Allied Newspapers also own the Sunday Times. — A. and N.Z. cable.
