GREECE SETS EXAMPLE. NOTICE TO~LEAGUE. LONDON, Jan. 28. Greece has given a notabl lead in disarmament. Tho Greek Minister to Switzerland, says the Geneva correspondent of the Times, haa'aeht a letter to tho Secretary-General of tho League of Nations stating that, in accordance with a resolution of the last Assembly, the Greek Government is reducing its military expenditure strictly to the limit of national security. He adds that Greece would be prepared to cease ordering new naval material if her neighbours would similarly pledge themselves by treaty, giving satisfactory guarantees.
