Received Januarv 7, 8.45 a.m. LONDON, Jan. 6. The committee appointed by the Labour Ministry to report on the police strike dismissals in 1919 failed to agreo on the question of reinstatement. The majority were opposed to such a case on the ground that the men had violated their oath and had exposed the community to enormous danger and were therefore unfitted to be policemen. The minority Urged that, failing reinstatement, the men should be re-engaged as opportunity offered.—A. and N.Z. cable.
