INFANTILE PARALYSIS.

NOT EPIDEMIC. WELLINGTON, Jan. 5. Dr. Valintine states that the outbreak of infantile paralysis has not assumed epidemic proportions and there is nothing to justify a scare. Elaborate precautions are being taken to ensure isolation and disinfection, Up to Saturday 50 cases had been reported at Wellington hospital and nine deaths had taken place. Two deaths occurred at Petone.
