ACCIDENTS & FATALITIES.

HOSPITAL REPORTS. Thomas Smythe, the youth who was admitted to the hospital last week suffering from a rifle wound in the chest, is reported t° he progressing satisfactorily. Cornelius Howard, who suffered a fractured skull as the result of a fall in the grounds at the Awupuni racecourse during the progress -of the recent meeting, is also improving. Edwin Connelly, who was admitted from Bulb suffering from a fractured skull, is reported to be progressing slowly.
