The Following appeared in our Second Edition yesterday:—
In connection with the half-holiday question, which has always been a burning one in Elthain, Mr C. A. Wilkinson, in the course of an address before the Chamber of Commerce, said that in Paris the shops closed on Monday morning. He considered that a splendid idea.
