RAILWAY COMMISSION.
REPORT READY THIS WEEK. K Per Press ■ Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 8. Sir Vincent Raven and Sir Sam Fay have concluded their investigations into the administration of the New Zealand railways, and are now prepitring their report. It is expected the report will be in the hands of the Government by Thursday or Friday. Sir Sam Fay and Sir Vincent Raven will leave Wellington on Friday for. Sydney. The First- named will sail for England from Sydney on January 3. but it is Sir Raven’s intention to make a short slay in Australia. Air C. Travis, secretary to the commission, will remain in New Zealand until December 18. As a journalist connected with railway publications and the author of works on railway administration Air Travis intends to make a tour of the Australian railways. Ills two colleagues on the commission staff— Mr J. A. Warren King and Air S. E. Fav—will leave for England on December 23.
