MAN BURNED.

HORSE GIVES ALARM. MELBOURNE, Nov. 27. Through an alarm given by the continued snorting of a horse, a man named Kilner was awakened and enabled to rescue Clements Graham from a burning tent at Stawell, Victoria, last week. Graham was considerably burnt on the face, hands, and feet, and his hair was singed off. He had taken an oil drum containing a fire info his tent, and it is thought a spark caused the blaze.
