HEAVY RAIN
FLOOD IN WELLINGTON. STREETS UNDER WATER. Per Press Association. WELLINGTON, Dec. 6. Very heavy rain foil in Wellington this morning and some of tho streets in tho city are badly flooded. A considerable length of Lambton Quay is completely submerged. No material damage is reported by tho shopkeepers. All sports have been postponed.
