AMERICAN VICE-CONSUL.
SHOT BY LITHUANIAN GIRL. LATTER COMMITS SUICIDE. Received December 8, 9.30 a.m. BELGRADE, Dec. 7. 51 r Harry Dayton, the American Vice-Consul, staggered into the Consulate and stated that he had been shot by a Lithuanian girl. His condition is most serious. The girl afterwards was found dead at the Vice-Consul’s residence and had apparentlv committed suicide.—A. and N.Z. cable.
