CAUSED BY WIRELESS AERIALS

Received December 8, Noon. LONDON, Dec. 7. The Daily Mail says that pigeon societies have urged the passing of legislation to compel owners of wireless sets to place corks along the aerials to enable the birds to avoid them. It has been ascertained that tens of thousands of pigeons are killed or injured through striking unseen wires. It is estimated that there are 700,000 keepers in Britain.
