COAL FOR RAILWAYS.
Per Press Association. WHANGAREI, Dec. 6. The Whangarei branch of the Engine Drivers, E iromon and Cleanora* Association passed a motion protesting against the reilitroduotion of all Now Zealand coal for locomotives, The resolution stales that owing to tint fumes from theso coals, and the Heavy loads to ho hauled with the superheated chins of engine, the lioaith of die engine crows suffers and that the safe running of the trains is endangered.
