In the final of (lie men's doubles at the Olympic tennis tournament limiter and Richards (America) beat Brugnon and L'ochet (France) 4—6, 6 —2, 6—5, 2—6, 6—3. The play oil' for third place between the beaten semi-finalists resulted in Borotra and j.m oste (France) beating London and Richardson (South Africa) 6—3, 10—8, 6—3.
