SPANISH REVERSE.
REPORTS DENIED BY EMBASSY. LONDON. July 18. The Spanish Embassy declares that the report of Spanish reverse in Morocco is false. It says that news has been received in Madrid that the incursion of Rill's in the territory of the Comars tribe was repulsed and that over 400 of the enemy are dead. General de Rivera’s progress through the western sector of the Spanish zone has been most successful.—Reuter. GIBRALTAR, July 18. There has been no confirmation so far of the Matin’s report regarding a Spanish defeat in Morocco, which is discredited from reliable quarters, which state that tho conditions at Tetuan aro apparently normal. —A. and N.Z. cable.
