MANY VEHICLES STOLEN. FRUITLESS POLICE PURSUIT. Received July 21, 11.15 a.m. SYDNEY, July 21. No fewer than 11 vehicles, valued at nearly £SCOO, were stolen here during tho week-end. Only three have been recovered. in one case the owner saw the car being taken, but the thieves kept him at bay by presenting a revolver at his head. _ A police patrol chased another car for miles through the suburbs but the thieves escaped.—Press' Association.
