KAIRANGA COUNTY COUNCIL. SPECIAL~~ORDER. LOWER AORANGI ROAD LOAN £BOO. NOTICE is hereby given that the following Special Order was passed at' a" Special Meeting of the Council on the Bth day of April, 1924, viz.:— That in pursuance and exercise of the powers vested in it in that behalf by the "Local Bodies Loans Act, 1913," and amendments, and in pursuance and exercise of every other power in that behalf it enabling the Kairanga County Council hereby, by SPECIAL ORDER, resolves as follows: That for the purpose of forming, adverting and metalling about 73 chains -(more o: - less) of continuation of Lower Aorangi Road, Kairanga, the Council do raise a Special Loan, to be known as the Lower Aorangi Road Loan of eight hundred pounds (£800), repayable together with the interest thereon at £4 10s per centum per annum by half-yearly instalments of twenty-two pounds eight shillings and eight pence (£'2'2 8s 8d) on account of principal and interest, payable in each and every year during a period equal to the currency of such loan, being a period of thirty-six and one-half years (86J) or until the loan is fully paid off. That the security for payment of principal and interest on the said loan of eight hundred pounds shall be a SPECIAL RATE of nine-twentieths (920ths) of a penny in the pound on the rateable value of all rateable property within the Lower .Aorangi Road Special Rating District, Kairanga. That the cost of raising the loan and of the first year's interest and. sinking fund shall' be paid out of the loan. And it is the intention oi the Council to confirm such resolution at the ordinary monthly meeting of the Council. to be held at the County Office, Palmerston North, at 10 o'clock of the forenoon on the 13th May, 1924.
