LIQUOR IN TORONTO.
SOLD BY DRUG STORES. OTTAWA, April 25. Toronto drug stores by dozens have been turned into bootlegging centres according to the Star, which carries a two column story bv a reporter who made rounds. It" is stated that there was no trouble in getting drinks in any part of the city. Many of the shops apparently gave drugs second consideration, devoting their principal attention to whisky. In manv places he found half a dozen men drinking and also observed women served with liquor in telephone booths.—A. and N.Z. cable.
