SMUGGLERS' DEN.

, BIG HOARD OF OLD MONEY. What is believed to be a smugglers' hoard has been discovered near a waterside warehouse at Bristol. Thousands of coins of the reigns of Elizabeth, James, and Charles I. have been found heaped in a sort of horseshoe, as well as some pottery of the fourteenth or fifteenth century or an even earlier date.
