LORD NORTHCLIFFE'S WILL

TOO MANY HUNDREDTHS. RE-DIVISION NECESSARY. LONDON, April 8. The judge who is hearing the case brought to interpret the will of the late Lord Northclitfe, directed attention to the fact that Lord Northcliffe made an arithmetical mistake. He allotted legacies of so many hundredths each, but investigation showed that it was necessary to divide the estate into 203 parts. Counsel remarked that the widow s participation in the case was misunderstood, the public believing that she was opposing the payment of certain legacies. Iho judge commented that the widow was rightly assisting the court.
