RISK FROM PIRATES
COMPENSATION FOR OFFICERS. Received April 28, 9.30 a.m. PEKIN, April 26. In the event of death of officers of ships on the Hong Kong register owing to piratical attacks, the Government will make a grant equivalent to two years' pay, and in,the case of disablement an allowance not exceeding one year's wages.—A. and N.Z. cable.
